I woke this morning to find this wonderful scene outside my window. The night before it was too dark to tell what was out there, so this was completely unexpected. Click to see the full size!
I woke up to a beautiful clear morning and discovered we could see the Golden Gate Bridge from our room!

Pamper Me Fabulous at Terranea

A beautiful view from the small golf course at Terranea Resort.
There were lots of vendors at the Bazaar portion of Pamper Me Fabulous. The power even went out twice!
For lunch, I took a break and strolled along the gorgeous coast.
I was basking in the beautiful day at a fantastic location.
The lawn area was used for fitness courses, while everything else was inside that building.
This will be a future vacation spot!
The seagull had quite a nice perch, watching things like that sailboat out in the distance.
A wonderful trail brings us down to water level to enjoy the waves.
Hmm, I wonder what kind of berry that is? Reminds me of yumberries.
Terranea Resort offers a lot of natural beauty, like this sunset over the ocean!

Wow, their marine layer came in really early!
You can't even tell the ocean is right there.
It's a haunting image made even more eerie by the foggy air.
Driving up allows for this view of Santa Barbara, now completely covered by the marine layer that crept over.

Look what grew in our yard! I’d really like to have a lush garden in any future homes of mine. They bring so much joy and learning, as well as a sense of peace and well-being. How cool is it that these eggplants grew without us intending them to?

It’s stormy here in SoCal and there are some great shots being captured of this weather, courtesy ABC7′s photo gallery.
This is my favorite - not only do you have a landmark and two seemingly contradictory weather indicators, there's also that one random helo in the middle of it all.
Wow, that is one intense bolt.
I call it rainbow birthing lightning.
Reminds me of those globes that create this effect.
