Today I share with you a brief video clip of an adorable baby orangutan. There’s just something about the young of various species that is inexplicably adorable.

Taking a tour outside Bangkok and it’s time for lunch on the river, literally!

Then we zoomed upriver to the bamboo rafts awaiting us.

This looked like a fun party!

This was reminiscent of my grandfather’s house. Not that it’s quite so loud, but he does love to raise birds and out of sight in this clip are bamboo/wooden cages that really reminded me of the ones he has at his home.

After hours of searching, we finally came across them! Read about the entire adventure that led up to these videos, then check’em out:

Out of nowhere, the rain poured down in what seemed like bucket-fulls. Just two minutes before, it was clear skies (albeit a humid night). Visibility dropped to about 10-20 feet. Singaporean weather can be so fickle!

Life

I’ve been watching the Life series on the Discovery Channel and seen a bunch of cool animals from all corners of the earth.  It reminds me of this beetle I saw in Hong Kong, which looked so shiny and was so unbelievably large that I could hardly believe it was real.  Exactly why I decided to take a video of it, to ensure that you know just how alive it was.

Hong Kong has one of the more distinctive skylines in the world (especially the night view). Here’s my first glimpse of it.

The Night Festival, held outside the National Museum in Singapore one hot evening.

Check out the people drumming upside down at times!

Haha, this amused me so greatly.  Check out how the pigeons rock back and forth as they try to stay on that unstable wire.

Wynn water show

In Chinese, Wynn has been translated to “yong li” – which can mean “always favorable” or “forever advantageous” or something to that extent.  Here’s a water show at the Wynn in Macao, where the streams of water reminded me of ladies dancing, their arms gracefully swaying to the song.
