Did I really just see macarons in the McDonald’s?

We got a mixed set to try.

I got the Earl Grey cake and a chocolate macaron to myself.

The cake was light and sweet with that tea undertone. There was a bit more frosting than I would have liked, so I left some on the fork. The macaron was totally different from what I expected. Most macarons I’ve had are light and crunchy but this was chewy. I actually liked that texture a lot! It reminded me of other snacks I enjoy that are soft, moist, and chewy. I plan on getting more before I leave.
